New ICU at Memorial Hospital North

On January 26, 2009, Memorial Hospital North will expand services to include a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) for critically ill medical or surgical patients. This addition to Memorial Hospital North gives northern Colorado Springs residents and physicians:

  • Expertise - 24-hour comprehensive, critical care expertise provided by experienced critical care intensivists and critical care nurses
  • Options - You can choose to have or your physician can choose to perform more complicated surgeries at Memorial Hospital North
  • Confidence - Should a patient take a turn for the worse, the critical intensive care is on site to meet the immediate needs of the patient and care team
  • Convenience – Residents and physicians located in northern El Paso County have critical care located close to home
