Rehabilitation is a method of treatment that uses therapy techniques to help overcome limitations. At Memorial Health System, rehabilitation has a primary emphasis on helping patients reach their maximum independence in living skills, mobility and communication.

Pediatric Rehabilitation

Pediatric Rehabilitation provides a full range of rehabilitation services for evaluation and treatment of children in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Rehab Patient Care Unit (Inpatient)

The Rehabilitation Patient Care Unit (RPCU) at Memorial Hospital Central is a 34-bed unit. This convenient location ensures that the patient is surrounded by the best and most complete medical care available in southern Colorado. This program provides inpatient medical rehabilitation to complement the acute care, outpatient, and home care services offered to our patients. The focus of the unit is to provide a comprehensive rehabilitation program for those who have suffered from conditions such as stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, fractures, orthopedic disorders, burns or other trauma.
